Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi politicians believe that the latest events on the Arab arena needs to convene a regional reconciliation conference to avoid more differences and conflicts.

National Alliance MP Jameela al-Ubaidi pointed that this conference should have "real will" to implement solving the current problems among the states.

She stressed that the reconciliation process should start in Iraq, between the government and the people, not among the political blocs.

Political analyst Iyad al-Anbar suggested that the regional conference might be an attempt to "reach real cooperation among the states of the region to get rid of a number of crises".

But, he warned that this conference may be an attempt to organize political dossiers among the states, rather a conference to support peace in the Middle East.
