Iraq plans to increase oil exports, Commission

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Parliamentary Oil and Energy Commission stressed that Iraq is planning to increase its oil exports to cover its financial crisis.
MP Hussein al-Awadi pointed that Iraq should re-negotiate its position with OPEC organization on increasing its share in oil exports irrespective of the decline in its oil exports that was agreed upon.
"Iraq is committed to reducing its oil exports, but Iraq should re-negotiate for increasing experts to cover the deficit in national budget", he confirmed.
During June last, the Iraqi oil exports reached to 3.273 million b/d with an increase of 11.000 b/d, as reported.
Iraq depends on its oil exports by 95% to cover its governmental needs.
