    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The Iraqi embassy in Kabul has been evacuated to the Egyptian embassy, ​​the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said Monday.
    "The charge d'affaires of the Iraqi embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul was evacuated to the Egyptian embassy," ministry spokesman Ahmed Jamal said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
    Gamal added that "attempts are continuing to evacuate two of the embassy staff," pointing out that "the process of storming the embassy has so far killed two of its Afghan guards."
    The Iraqi embassy in Kabul this morning was attacked by a car bomb, followed by an attempt by gunmen to enter the building in the center of the Afghan capital.
    As confirmed by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, earlier in the day, follow up the repercussions of the incident of the Iraqi embassy in Kabul with the Afghan authorities, and take measures to save the embassy staff.
