    Dhi Qar Governorate has announced that it has set up a special plan to destroy the waste and chemical materials in the governorate according to the instructions and environmental determinants approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
    The first deputy governor of Dhi Qar Adel al-Dakhili said that "the approval of the allocation of land area (10) acres in the area of ​​Tel al-Lahm south of Nasiriyah has been to establish a plant to address and damage the chemical and biological and military waste in the province."
    He pointed out that "the province has developed a special plan for the destruction of waste and chemical, biological and war in the province according to the instructions and environmental determinants adopted by the Ministry of Science and Technology."
    He pointed out that "the station will be allocated to the treatment and destruction of hazardous waste, has been taken measures to destroy and absorb different types of hazardous waste."
    Al-Dakhili pointed to the importance of preserving the health and safety of the people of the province, praising the same time in coordination and fruitful cooperation with the Center for the treatment and destruction of materials and chemical waste in the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Department of Environment and Agriculture in Dhi Qar in the field of completing approvals for the establishment of the station.
