Turkey denies attempts to close the Khabur crossing with Iraq

Baghdad / Baghdadiya News .. The Turkish Consul general in the province of Arbil, Mohammed Akef, on Wednesday, the presence of attempts to close the Khabur crossing between Iraq and Turkey, noting that the relations between Turkey and the Kurdistan region is constantly evolving.
"There are no attempts to close the Khabur crossing between Iraq and Turkey," Akef told a news conference in Zakho today, adding that "relations between Turkey and the Kurdistan region are constantly evolving."
He added that "his country will continue to grant a visa to enter Turkey after September 25 also," noting that "the consulate decided to open an office in the province of Dohuk to grant a visa to enter Turkey."
