    Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani confirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq is a difficult number in the global market in the field of energy.
    Al-Sudani said in his speech at the ceremony of the fifth and sixth licensing rounds, in the presence of “Al-Maalouma”, that “the competition in the two rounds will be for 29 blocks, indicating that the government’s program, from its first day, depends on opening the wide door to the optimal investment of oil and gas.”
    He added, "Our vision included a new policy and projects that advance the reality of oil wealth in Iraq," noting that "the priority of the economy is among the government's five priorities, which pass through the optimal investment of this wealth, because the revenues and employment will be a starting point for the advancement of the rest of the sectors that the Iraqi people are waiting for with support." Wealth that provides a decent life for him.”
    He promised, "Iraq is a difficult number in terms of energy and oil in the world, as we have set from the first day of our government the goal of investing this wealth and stopping the destructive effects on the environment."
    Al-Sudani directed us to invest our oil production and transfer it to manufacturing and petrochemical industries, as we transferred 40 percent of oil production to these sectors.”
    He pointed out that "the free gas investment implemented through the sixth round is an important event for investing this wealth."
    He touched on the path of development, and said, “The path of development is the great Iraq project, as we included in its designs the transportation of oil and gas, which is the establishment of a new situation for Iraq in the global energy market.” End 25
