[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, stressed the necessity of coordinating efforts between the political forces to preserve the gains achieved and the positive developments witnessed by Iraq. A
presidential statement stated, “Rashid met today, Saturday, with Barzani, and during the meeting, , which was attended by the two vice presidents of the region and a number of ministers and officials in the region, reviewed the general conditions in the country and regional developments, indicating: “The necessity of consolidating security and stability in the country and coordinating efforts between the political forces to preserve the gains achieved and the positive developments witnessed by Iraq was also emphasized.” He added ,
"The meeting witnessed a discussion of the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the importance of activating the agreements and resolving outstanding issues in accordance with the constitution and the law. The president also praised the steps that led to further development and strengthening of relations between the two sides," stressing "the importance of continuous dialogue and access to To joint understandings in a way that provides a decent life for citizens in all regions of the country.”
The President pointed out “the necessity of strengthening relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, completely resolving the issue of the budget and financial dues to the region, and working to solve the obstacles facing farmers and receiving wheat from the federal government.” ", stressing that he "attaches great importance to consolidating relations between Iraq, including the Kurdistan region, with neighboring countries, the region and the world, in a way that consolidates security, peace and stability in the region."
For his part, the President of the Kurdistan Region referred to "the continuing efforts to establish security and peace, as well as finding solutions to the outstanding issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government."
