Forming committees to initiate the opening of literacy centers for government employees
BAGHDAD, Aug 16 (KUNA) - The Department of Literacy at the General Directorate for Baghdad's Education / Al-Rusafa III has formed committees of its staff to coordinate with the government departments within its geographical area for the purpose of opening literacy centers for its employees, To the directives of the Ministry of Education to open up to government institutions to eliminate illiteracy in Iraq.
The information office of the Minister of Education said that "the committees formed in the section and based on the book issued by the Executive Authority for Literacy, started and in coordination with the government departments to open centers of the basic stage within the departments within the geographical area of the Directorate," noting that "the duration of study in these centers Up to 90 days and 3 days a week, and the government departments to cooperate with the committees to erase the illiteracy of its employees out of a sense of responsibility and the importance of education and the eradication of literacy from Iraq.
