    Iraq is competing with ten countries to the post of Director General of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (Alasko), while the Ministry of Education to run for the post a great achievement for the country. He pointed out that the countries that compete with Iraq for the post are: Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Tunisia and Palestine. He said that Iraq would be the pioneer of Arab countries in the decisions of the field of education, culture, communications and science, noting that the 25th of this month is the date of elections to be held in Kuwait, stressing that the country is on the rise of a large, but the Renaissance requires an international And broad strategic relations. ALSO is working within the framework of the Education Development Plan in the Arab World to help ensure access to quality education in various Arab countries, based on its belief in the strategic importance of this sector and its role in ensuring sustainable development and progress and prosperity for individuals and communities.
