He said that "the head of the provincial council Raad Jubouri, received a book from the governor ten days ago elected governor of Babylon, but Jubouri reservation to the book was not announced."
"If we had only one legal evidence against the president of the council or any member of the council, we would not be late to hand him over to the concerned authorities," Hindawi said.
He added that "34 people are candidates for the post of governor and to the moment we do not know anything about them, and provide an emergency session without examination in terms of testimony, law and efficiency."
The Council of the province of Babylon, failed on 16 of this month for the second time in the election of a successor to the governor Sadiq Meddul Al-Sultani, who won the membership of the House of Representatives.
The competition for the post is confined to {Karar Al-Alaq}, son of the sister of the former MP from Babel Ali Al-Alaq, and {returned Al-Jubouri} of the coalition of the rule of law.
The MP for the province of Babylon Haitham Jubouri, revealed on 12 of this month, the existence of a candidate for the post of governor of Babylon, "pay large sums" to some members of the provincial council and figures in force, "and called on the House of Representatives" to investigate the matter.
Jubouri said in a statement that he "will submit a request to the House of Representatives includes the request to form a committee to verify information we received about a person nominated for the post of governor of Babylon and close to one of the known political figures, pay large amounts to some members of the provincial council and personalities in force in Babylon.
"We will disclose to the sons of the province all the details related to the subject and the names of those who gave himself to pledge the future of the province for his personal gain."
It is scheduled to witness the country in the next December 22 provincial elections, but the Electoral Commission ruled out the possibility of holding this date due to lack of time.
