Baghdad / Obelisk: The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs assigned, 08/22/2022, Director of the Arab Department in the Ministry, Osama Mahdi Al-Rifai, with the post of Iraq's ambassador to Lebanon.
Representative Ahmed al-Jubouri said in a tweet on Twitter: I congratulate Osama Mahdi al-Rifai, head of the Arab Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, assigning him the duties of the ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Lebanon.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry had earlier issued an order to transfer the Iraqi ambassador to Lebanon, Haider Al-Barrak, from the Iraqi embassy in Beirut to the ministry's center in Baghdad.
