Bayati ruled out ending the controversy of the Electoral Commission in today's session

21/10/2017 08:13 |Ruled out a member of the House of Representatives for the National Alliance Abbas al-Bayati "agreement on the new commission today because of quotas and differences within the political blocs."
Al-Bayati said in a statement received "Trend Press" a copy of him on Saturday, "Ann and the desire and Lamgal extension of the current Commission for three reasons I was questioned this Commission has not been withdrawn confidence and therefore the settlement was to go to a new commission instead of the extension of the current Commission and the second reason 4 to 5 Of the current commissioners have officially submitted a request to the President of Parliament as the Commission of the Council to refer them to retirement and therefore no longer a quorum for the Commission in case it continues to work and the third reason that the Committee of Experts reached an advanced stage of naming nine members.
Al-Bayati added that "the disagreement between the blocs on the composition of the Commission on the quota because we have 21 parliamentary bloc and those who represented 9 under the Commission and sure that there are 10 to 11 block will object and therefore will not accept the illusion (non-representatives) are disrupted by the quorum and non-voting on the Commission reached Through the Committee of Experts. "
And ruled out "resolving the differences in the coming days and put forward several options, including those who believe in nine, which was produced by the Committee of Experts must mobilize their deputies and if a number of Kurdish deputies will be sure to pass the matter and that there is a vote in the highest votes, meaning the meaning of the names of 37 who were reached in the Committee of Experts As the last list before the Council and the first nine who get the highest proportion of the votes they form the Commission and the composition of this bloc or that or to be divided into 37 lists or 4 baskets each list 9 names and put the Council to vote and the list that gets the highest votes is the Commission A vote shall be taken It is not individually among these ideas put forward yesterday in a meeting of the Presidium of the parliament with the heads of blocs and the Committee of Experts. "
Al-Bayati expressed "his belief that we still have a long time to name a new commission because it was not disengaged between the blocks and there is still disagreement within the National Alliance and within the Union of forces and within the Kurdish blocs in relation to their representatives and other differences within the blocks on representation" again " In reaching a new commission during the current week if this mechanism and the method of quotas remain in the distribution of members on the blocks and parties.
