Russian newspaper: Moscow began handing Iraq's weapons of contracted
Friday, November 18 2013 / Twilight News / Russian newspaper Izvestia reported on Friday that Moscow began to hand over arms deal for Iraq, according to a contract entered into between the two countries in 2012, gets under which Baghdad 40 fighter helicopter models "Mei -35" and "May 28".
The newspaper, which is seen by "Twilight News", that battalions of Iraqi experts finished his training on the use of helicopters "Mi -35" at the training center of the Russian Air Force in Torzhok, pointing out that the arms deal between Russia and Iraq also include special weapons to combating terrorism .
Moscow had exempted Baghdad from debts owed to the former Soviet Union for the purchase of large quantities of Russian weapons.
The estimated value of the arms deal signed by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Moscow last year by more than $ 4 billion.
