Gathering signatures for an extraordinary parliamentary session in support of JerusalemBaghdad - The Daily News
The deputy of the coalition of state law, Fardous Awadi, on Saturday, collected signatures for a special session of the House of Representatives to support Jerusalem.
Al-Awadi said in a statement received by the "Journal News" that "most members of the National Alliance signed to hold the meeting, so the number exceeded 50 sites, and then the list will be submitted to the President of the Council to hold."
She added that "the House of Representatives to hold this meeting would have stood a historic position of support for Arab Jerusalem and will be a cry of rejection of the Iraqi people represented by the parliament in the face of US President Trump and the Zionist entity usurper."
Al-Awadi said that "the House of Representatives is preparing to hold this meeting, which left only a date set by the President of the Council."
