North Korea: Two officials executed, including "second man in the country"!
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered a senior official to be executed for delaying a new missile test, media reports said, days after the execution of another official described as "the second man in the country."
The Daily Mail newspaper said the executioner had caused failures at the Bongji Re nuclear base, delaying the launch of a missile in a new test. An office manager-131, responsible for the construction and operation of the nuclear base.
Five days ago, a senior official who was described as "the second most powerful man in North Korea" disappeared from public life, raising speculation that he may have been executed.
There is no official information from Pyongyang confirming the execution of officials, but Kim's visit to Mount Paektu indicates that North Korean leaders used to go there before making strong decisions such as execution of officials.
