A member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Kazem Sayadi said in a brief statement on Monday that the Federal Court rejected the appeal for the preparatory certificate and kept the certificate approved for the nomination of bachelor.
There has been no clarification from the court.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives has stipulated in the new electoral law that the least scientific achievement of the candidate to run in the legislative elections is the bachelor.
