According to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, the arrival of the first batch of Russian T-90 tanks to Iraq.
"The tanks arrived at the port of Umm Qasr in southern Iraq on February 15," Mabia said, adding that "the tanks were transferred to Baghdad later."
The sources did not mention the number of tanks that arrived in Iraq, but added that "Russia undertakes to supply 73 tanks of this kind to Iraq in accordance with a contract between the two countries," and did not confirm Baghdad and Moscow this information officially.
The T-90C is equipped with powerful weapons and a modern fire control system. It is characterized by safe armor and high maneuverability and can fight in all conditions of war day and night.
