The deputy head of the parliamentary change bloc Amin Bakr, on Sunday, Prime Minister Haider Abadi to take rapid measures and pay the salaries of staff and teachers of the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Region, warning of the loss of the future generations of the whole province as a result of the closure of schools in several months.
Bakr said in a statement to the twilight news that "schools in the province of Kurdistan have closed its doors for several months, because of non-payment of salaries of teachers and staff of the Ministry of Education," noting that "this situation means the loss of the future generations and the full decline in the level of education, Educational and scientific front of the world. "
He added that "the federal government and the Prime Minister has already promised to pay the salaries of the staff of the region, especially the staff of education and health, but even today, these promises are only words through the media without implementation, at a time that the sectors of education and health are vital sectors and should be dealt with exceptionally and keep them away from the debates Political parties. "
Bakr stressed that "Abadi must take realistic measures and pay the salaries of education staff in the province in a quick time, because delaying them to another time means insufficient time to save the academic year and the loss of a full year of our students' age, something we did not wish of the federal government Its concern for the citizens of the region as part of the Iraqi people. "
