    Jordanian Prime Minister Hani al-Mulqi said on Wednesday that his country could form a breakthrough and a gateway for the reconstruction of Iraq and Syria because of the relations between the two countries. 
    "We are happy to see that Iraq has re-established control over most of the Iraqi territories after the victory over a supporter," Al-Mulqi said in statements published by the Jordanian daily Al-Rai. "We hope that Iraq will be an active member of its Arab and international society. "He said. 
    Al-Mulqi added that "the reconstruction process in Iraq and Syria requires the support and concerted efforts of all countries," stressing that "Jordan and its geographical location and relations with the two countries can be a start and a portal for reconstruction."

    Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq Montaser Okla said on Wednesday that the Iraqi market is a lifeline for the Jordanian industry, stressing the keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries.
    "Jordan is keen to strengthen relations with brotherly Iraq in various fields, especially with regard to trade exchange, considering that the Iraqi market is a lifeline for the Jordanian industry," Aqla said in a statement to Jordan's Al-Ghad newspaper.
    Aqla stressed the need to make maximum efforts from the public and private sectors in this regard, noting that "the Jordanian embassy in the capital Baghdad, will witness in the next phase the process of strengthening its cadres and the appointment of new diplomats and economic adviser and an investment supplement."
