OPEC: Iraq has a big role in the success of the agreement to cut production

OPEC Secretary-General Mohamed Barkindo said that Iraq had played a major role in the success of the OPEC oil production reduction agreement.
A statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister, received by "Economy News", said that "the Prime Minister, Dr. Haider Abadi, received OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo and his delegation."
He added that "during the meeting discussed the future vision of the OPEC countries on oil and the importance of maintaining the stability of the region, in addition to the role of Iraq in the Organization."
For his part, Barkindo said the role of Iraq was great in the agreement that took place in OPEC, which contributed to the current stability of the price of oil.
He praised the OPEC Secretary General of the economic program pursued by the government of Dr. Haider Abadi and the importance of continuing this approach, which will revive Iraq economically.
