    [ltr]The Japanese Embassy in Iraq on Tuesday issued a statement on Prime Minister Haider Abadi's upcoming visit to Tokyo.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will pay an official working visit to Japan from April 4 to 5," the embassy said in a statement received by Mawazine News.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will hold a meeting with Abadi and hold a dinner in his honor," she said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The Iraqi Prime Minister and Prime Minister Abe will also attend the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Conference to Support Job Creation and Vocational Training to Facilitate Arms Control in Iraqi Society, scheduled to be held in Tokyo on April 5," the embassy said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The Japanese government hopes that Prime Minister Abadi's visit will further deepen the friendly relations between Japan and Iraq, which will mark the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2019," she said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Prime Minister Haider Abadi announced during his weekly conference held on Sunday, 1 April 2018, that he will visit Japan in the coming days.[/ltr]
