    The head of the Jordanian House of Representatives Atef Tarawanah that Amman will not cover Saddam Hussein if convicted of financing terrorism in Iraq and denied the hosting of his country's leaders and symbols of the former regime.
    "There is no Iraqi leadership in Jordan," said Tarrouna in an interview with the Egyptian daily Al-Yawm al-Sabea. "Saddam Hussein's daughter Raghad is the daughter of Saddam Hussein and her hosting does not violate Jordanian law," he said.
    He added that "the Kingdom of Jordan is prosecuting any Jordanian or foreign citizen is exposed to neighboring countries, is being held accountable and the Jordanian law is the Faisal in this matter, and the subject is not intransigence or provocation to neighboring countries."
    "If Raghad was convicted Saddam would not be covered by Jordan, but there are criteria for its establishment in the Kingdom of Jordan," he said, claiming that "it did not engage in any political activity that harms Iraq from Jordanian territory."
