The United States strongly condemned the launching of Houthi rockets on Saudi Arabia, asserting its support for the Kingdom's right to defend its borders against these threats.
"The United States strongly condemns the Huthi attack that took place today in Riyadh," a US foreign ministry statement issued on Thursday said.
The Saudi air defense intercepted three ballistic missiles fired by the Iranian Houthi militia towards Riyadh, Najran and Jazan.
The Arab Coalition also announced the dropping of a Huthi drone that tried to target Abha airport and destroy another plane in Jazan.
The coalition confirmed that the Houthi aircraft carrying Iranian fingerprints, promising a decisive response to the Huthi militias.

The United States strongly condemned the launching of Houthi rockets on Saudi Arabia, asserting its support for the Kingdom's right to defend its borders against these threats.
