    Information / Baghdad ..
Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Friday praised the religious authority's decision to preserve the unity and sovereignty of Iraq after they wrote in 2014 that Iraq is over, pointing out that Iraq is stronger and more united thanks to the martyrs and the wounded and fighters,
"Thanks to the martyrs, the wounded, the fighters and the fatwa of Sayyed Ali al-Sistani, we passed the stage and Iraq is now stronger and more united after they wrote in 2014 that Iraq," a statement from his office said after a meeting with a group of martyrs' families in Missan.
"The martyrs are the makers of victory. Thanks to them, the land was liberated. Those who sacrifice in defense of the homeland are the pride of their family and country. They chose this path with their will, the summit of sacrifice."
The prime minister stressed "inciting the government to support the families of the martyrs and take care of the wounded."
