[ltr]The Organization of the border crossings, on Monday, the size of the volume of revenues for the month of April more than (19) Nineteen billion Iraqi dinars.[/ltr]
[ltr]The border crossing authority, the port of Umm Qasr al-Shamali, revealed statistics showing the total financial revenues of the state treasury and the commercial containers drawn out of the port.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement of the agency received / Mawazin News / "The volume of revenues for the month of April amounted to more than (19) nineteen billion Iraqi dinars."[/ltr]
[ltr]"The revenues achieved during the short period of time between 1 and 9 June amounted to more than (31) billion Iraqi dinars," noting that it "revenues of customs and did not add tax revenues."[/ltr]
[ltr]According to the statement, the number of commercial containers drawn out of the port reached (7896) containers.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Authority pointed out that, through the above, we show that the volume of revenues and funds collected by the State Treasury during a record period confirms the impression of the important role of the border ports in supervising and controlling the departments operating in all outlets.[/ltr]
[ltr]It is worth mentioning that the Border Ports Authority has assumed its functions in the Iraqi ports since 2 May 2018 and that this increase in the volume of revenues was the result of an organized and strict campaign led by the Border Crossings Authority to prevent cases of administrative and financial corruption in the departments operating at all border crossings.[/ltr]
