The management of the port of Safwan border increased by an annual revenue of 144 billion dinars for the year ended 2017.

The director of the port, Col. Jaafar al-Sudani said in a press statement today that "the management of the port has achieved an increase in the annual revenue by (144) billion dinars on the proportion of revenues achieved in 2016."

He added that "the increase rate was achieved after investing efforts of the workers in the port and the implementation of procedures adopted internationally in the security and management of land ports and take strict measures against those involved in stealing and wasting public money."
