Ports open bids to implement six vital projects

Al-Safi added that the company has opened bids for the participation of the gates of the main entrance to the port of Umm Qasr and hold the participation of the island of Hjam, has also been open tender for contracts and equipment in the company, noting that the management of Iraq's ports continue to create a variety of work areas to increase their revenues and contribute to the development of the national economy. He pointed out that the ports received last week five giant commercial vessels of different nationalities on the docks of the northern port of Umm Qasr loaded with various commercial materials and cars. He pointed out that the Department of Shipyards and Marine Industries of the company managed to float the tug (Saif Karrar) on the floating basin (Agnadin), pointing out that this step was based on the national technical effort to preserve public money and try to promote the professional side in the ports.
