The spokesman for the Sunni tribes, Muzahim al-Hewitt, on Sunday refused to renew the mandate of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi for four new years, referring to his failure to administer and provide services, while praising the position of the alliance Sason, who asked Abadi to resign.
"We support the position of the Sason coalition, which called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi to submit his resignation immediately because it is a failure to administer the government and provide basic and necessary services to citizens in all provinces and cities," he said in a statement.
He added that "the second mandate of slaves is rejected by the Sunni Arab tribes as rejected by most political forces," pointing out that "this refusal came because of the failure of Abadi in the leadership of Iraq."
The newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" Saudi Arabia saw in a report, on Sunday, that the table overturned on Prime Minister Haider Abadi after the recent events in the province of Basra, noting that he no longer enjoys the support of one after losing support of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr.
