"Al-Ghad Press" on Friday witnessed a document showing the appointment of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to the duties of the Minister of the Interior and Agency, pending the appointment of a minister for the ministry.
According to the document circulated by the social networking sites, a Diwani order issued on Thursday, Abdul Mahdi, "took over the functions of the Minister of Interior Agency until the appointment of Minister of Interior, and implement the order from the date of issuance."
On Thursday, a ceremony was held to hand over power to the president and members of the new government.
The House of Representatives voted on Wednesday evening, on the cabinet cabin, was given confidence to Adel Abdul Mahdi as prime minister and 14 ministers, and raised the Council to the sixth of November to vote on the candidates of other ministries.
