Parliamentarian: Amending the Election Law is out of the question
• Today 14:55

Information / Special ..
A member of the State Support Bloc confirmed on Monday that the proposal to amend the elections law for the next electoral cycle has not been discussed practically among the political forces, and what is being presented in the media are personal opinions and do not express the position of a particular political bloc.
Member of the bloc, MP Mohammed Al-Ziyadi, said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The issue of amending the election law is not being discussed at the level of the State Administration Coalition in a practical way or even at the level of a political bloc."
He added, "The proposal for the amendment does not represent the position of a political bloc or alliance, and its media presentation is nothing more than a personal position, and may be an attempt to test the pulse of others."
It is noteworthy that the election law approved by Parliament adopted the single-district system, and it is considered that the law does not serve the emerging political blocs and the dominance of large and influential political forces. End / 25m
