    Information / Baghdad..
Member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee, Kamel Al-Akeili, called on Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, today, Monday, to form a committee to hold accountable those who are negligent in the Baghdad Electricity Company.
Al-Akeili said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The current performance of the Baghdad Electricity Company is below the level of ambitions, especially in the areas east of the canal."
He added that "the areas east of the canal are suffering from continuous power outages," noting that "there is a clear delay by the service departments in solving the bottlenecks in the areas east of the canal."
He pointed out that "the management of the General Electricity Company of Baghdad is not cooperative, which has led to the absence of a stable electrical energy system, despite the great support from the Prime Minister for the areas east of the canal."
Al-Akeili stressed the "necessity of forming a committee to hold accountable those in the Baghdad Electricity Company for negligence." End / 25 H
