    The media and communications authority issued a clarification, Friday, on its decisions issued to the media based on Iraqi law "and avoids" those means of accountability.

    The Information and Communications Authority said that "being an independent constitutional body, but part of the system of the state, which receives from time to time official pillars require the observance of a number of sensitive phenomena in the community arena taking into account the interests of the country and the unity of Iraqi society and the Commission is committed to deal with them administratively in line with the powers granted to them And to adapt their procedures without depriving them of their independence in carrying out their duties and duties. "
    On Thursday, the media and communications authority issued a letter to all media demanding that "any abuses against national and religious symbols be stopped."
    The official book issued by the Commission, on 24-10-2018, "the need to adopt objectivity and transparency in the transfer of events," without mentioning any irregularities.
    The Commission promised in its book channels that will violate the resolution, threatening to "take legal action against violators."
    The media observatory described the media and communications decisions as "bad" and promised to disrupt the work of media and journalists, and called on Iraqi MPs to stand against these decisions.
