      Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said on Sunday he saw no need for an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) before April. 

    Al-Falih made the remarks at the World Energy Forum held in Abu Dhabi. 

    The Saudi Energy Minister said during the forum that the oil marketglobal on the right track, expected that the market will return to balance quickly.

    "Secondary sources indicate that the OPEC production in December actually decreased by more than 600 thousand barrels per day than it was in November," adding that "if we find that there is a need to do more we will do in agreement with partners in OPEC and from outside Where cooperation is also necessary. " 

    "He does not see the need for an extraordinary meeting of OPEC before April, when production policy is to be decided for the rest of 2019," he said. 

    The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other major producers, led by Russia, agreed in December. To cut output by 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd) from January to prevent a supply oversupply and to support low prices.
