    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
    Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Monday met with the ministerial energy committee to select the best companies to set up power plants. 
    "Abdul Mahdi chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Committee on Energy to select the best companies and presentations in the fields of construction of power stations and maintenance and according to specific time schedules," Abdul Mahdi said in a statement received by the agency " Reducing the time factor and focusing efforts to increase electricity production. " 
    He added that "the meeting was attended by ministers of oil, electricity and water resources and reviewed the most important projects and ways to support and preparations for the upcoming summer season." End 25 T
