    - Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Fuad Hussein received on Tuesday Tareq Al-Hammouri, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and his accompanying delegation. 
    "During the meeting, which was attended by the Jordanian ambassador to Baghdad, Montasser al-Zu'bi, he reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and the follow-up to the implementation of the Iraqi-Jordanian agreement," a statement from the minister's office said. 
    He added that "Hamouri reviewed the steps to implement the Convention." 
    "The Jordanian side is waiting for lists of Iraqi drivers for the purpose of granting them the features of entering the border," Hamwi said.
    For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister to "the importance of the Iraqi and Jordanian agreement and it will contribute to the increasing volume of trade exchange between the two countries and stimulate the market, especially in the western region of Iraq, which will affect positively the security and economic situation and create many jobs in those areas." 
    "The parties also agreed to coordinate the work for the meeting of the technical delegation of the ministries of finance in both countries to discuss common issues in this area and related to the service of common interest." 
    Al-Hamouri expressed "Jordan's full readiness to train Iraqi cadres and transfer technology and modern technologies used in the ministries of Jordan and benefit from them to develop the work of the various state institutions."
