The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim al-Ghazi, on Monday, that the Presidency of the Council of Ministers is continuing the project to refer Nasiriyah International Airport to investment, noting that the government is concentrating efforts on the electricity file in the country.
"The government has put the electricity file at the top of its priorities, especially at the level of distribution and transportation, and work on setting up stations and finding solutions to confront any emergency," Al-Ghazi said in a statement received by the chairman of the Dhi Qar Council Rahim Al-Khakani and members of the council. Stressing "the need for the provinces to establish energy projects within their programs."
The Secretary-General referred to the need to "develop Nasiriyah International Airport," stressing that "the Prime Minister directed to proceed with the transfer of the airport to investment, and the development of services and facilities affiliated to him."
For his part, the President of the Council of the province of Dhi Qar Rahim Al-Khakani, "The Council discussed the establishment of schools lagging, and the formation of a committee to identify the obstacles of their projects, noting that the Committee will continue with the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in this regard."
