    The parliamentary finance committee confirmed on Sunday that it will oblige the central government and Finance Minister Fouad Hussein to withhold the region's salaries if Baghdad does not hand over agreed oil imports.
    "The Finance Committee prepared its report on the non-delivery of oil imports agreed with the region to Baghdad, but the report has not yet been put on the table of parliament," Committee member Siham al-Aqili said in a statement.
    "The report, which was prepared will require the Kurdistan region to hand over oil imports agreed with Baghdad, amounting to 250 thousand barrels."
