"We learned from a source in the Presidency of the Republic that President {Barham Salih] confirmed that next Thursday it will be enough to nominate the candidate for prime minister," he said.
It is noteworthy that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, has not yet assigned a personality to the position of Prime Minister, rather than the resigned Adel Abdel Mahdi, who currently heads a caretaker government.
