    [size=45]The representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Gharib Ahmed, confirmed that there is no problem in the process of sending salaries to employees in the region.[/size]
    [size=45]Ahmed said, “The delay that occurred in the process of sending the amounts is a result of the audits carried out by the Federal Ministry of Finance in the balance of payments.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added that “there is no technical or political problem and sending salaries is a decision of the highest judicial authority, which is the Federal Court,” noting that “most likely the amount will be sent within the next two days, and the process will not be delayed any longer.”[/size]
    [size=45]He stressed that “the news circulating about stopping sending money is inaccurate.”[/size]
    [size=45]A source in the Federal Ministry of Finance announced on Wednesday (May 1, 2024) that the salaries of Kurdistan Region employees would be sent after completing the verification of the list of names.[/size]
    [size=45]The source said in a statement circulated by Kurdish media, that “all procedures have been completed to send the salaries of the region’s employees,” noting that “the salaries are ready and all that remains is to consult the minister,” expecting that “the salaries for the month of April will be sent within two days.”[/size]
    [size=45]Last Tuesday, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Nermin Maarouf, revealed the reasons for the delay in sending April salaries to the Kurdistan Regional Government, suggesting that Baghdad will send the money by the end of this week.[/size]
    [size=45]Marouf wrote on her page on the social networking site “Facebook” that “the Iraqi Ministry of Finance had comments on the list of salaries for the month of April, so it returned it to the Kurdistan Regional Government, so the salary audit was delayed.”[/size]
    [size=45]She added, "It is likely that the Iraqi Ministry of Finance will deposit April salaries into the Ministry of Finance's bank account by the end of this week."[/size]
