the representative of the Al-Sadiqoun bloc, Ali Turki, confirmed that Nour Zuhair and the General Director of Ports manage the Iraqi ports and take over their contracts.
Turki said, in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, that "the Turkish attacks in northern Iraq will not stop until after combating the Kurdistan Workers' Party and ending all its movements and operations in Iraq, as Turkey has not been able to stop the PKK's operations on its lands for 30 years."
He added, "The regional government is always not committed to the terms of the political agreements concluded with the central government in Baghdad, indicating that the Iraqi government deals paternalistically with its citizens, especially employees, including the region's employees."
He pointed out that "the accused, Nour Zuhair, the Director General of Ports, and those behind them manage the Iraqi ports and take over their contracts, pointing out that the problem of the region's salaries is difficult to solve because the numbers of aliens there are large."
