Deputy: Nomination of a candidate for prime minister has become a "complex matter"

MP Hassan Al- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] blamed the political blocs for the delay in choosing a candidate to head the transitional government, stressing: "The nomination of the Prime Minister has become a complex matter in light of the repercussions experienced by the Iraqi street of political and security problems."
Al- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] said in a press statement: "A number of names are circulating in the political circles, some of which have been officially rejected, and the other is still under discussion, and we hope that we will finish this task soon."
He added: "Any suggestion to the post of prime minister must be accompanied by popular approval, so it is not possible to impose a candidate who violates the trends of the street, and therefore will be subject to rejection and drain more time."
