Trade starts distributing local rice within the ration items

The Ministry of Trade announced, on Saturday, that it will start supplying local rice to food agents in a number of governorates to be distributed among citizens within the ration card items.
General Director of the General Company for Grain Trade, Hassanein Mahdi Alwan Al-Zubaidi, said in a statement seen by him / the information: “The Ministry, within its plan to support the local product, has started to provide large quantities of rice produced locally in the two types of amber and jasmine and supply it to food agents in a number of governorates to be Distribute it among citizens within the ration card items.
Al-Zubaidi added, “The Ministry has already started distributing the January share for this year of this important and strategic article,” noting that “The Ministry has worked to reduce time and prepare manufacturing controls for rice and expedite the signing of contracts with the owners of private mowers to be the result of these efforts to distribute local rice in First class for the first month of the year 2020. ”
He pointed out that "the ministry is seeking, through this measure, to encourage farmers and farmers to increase their production of rice as it is distinguished by the local crop from the rest of the types of rice imported from outside the country in terms of taste, quality and taste." Ended / 25
