{Baghdad: Al Furat News}, a spokesman for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, announced today, Sunday, that Iraq has recovered thousands of artefacts smuggled abroad.
Said al - Sahaf told a news briefing , " the ministry has worked to restore the effects of the Iraqi contraband, including antique pieces precious (Kodoro) return of King time (Nebuchadnezzar first 3200 BC)," explaining that he has returned from Britain to Iraq. "
He added , " it was recovered 10 artifacts are Babylonian cylindrical seals, and the receipt of about 1376 artifacts from Jordan, after the relevant authorities in Jordan seized them in the border centers after attempts to smuggle them out of Iraq.
