Iran: Export goods worth $ 265 million to Iraq via Mehran border crossing
{Baghdad: Euphrates News} The Director-General of the Customs Department in the province of Ilam western Iran from exporting goods worth {265} million dollars to Iraq via Mehran border crossing since the beginning of the current Iranian year {21 March to March 2014}.
The agency quoted the Islamic Republic News {us} Khalil Heydari as saying today that the "weight of goods exported to Iraq via Mehran border crossing into Iraq during the past three months amounted to 709 116 tonnes."
He explained that "the goods exported to Iraq included cement, types of ceramic tiles, construction materials and metal products and Albulastیکیh and fruit and vegetables," noting that "exported goods increased by 24 percent in value compared to the same period of last year."
Heydari said that "exports of goods during the past three months, recorded a decline in terms of weight by 7 percent compared to the same period of last year."
The crossing of Mehran border crossings to cross the important visitors and export of goods to Iraq, Iran, and reflect the daily 700 to 800 truckloads of goods through this crossing into Iraq.
RECALLS that the million and 724 000 tons of goods worth about $ 800 million were exported to Iraq during the past year by crossing Mehran. Ended
