The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted a proposal to the Council of Ministers to cancel entry visas with Iraq.
According to the media site of the Cabinet Office in Iran, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has submitted a proposal to cancel entry visas with Iraq to the Council for approval given that a preliminary agreement has been reached with the Iraqi side in this regard."
He continued: "The aforementioned proposal was included on the agenda of the Political and Defense Committee in the Council of Ministers to study it and take the necessary decision regarding it.
The office indicated that the proposal includes ordinary passport holders on condition of reciprocity by the two countries.
