    Al-Maaloumah / Anbar ...
The advisor to the Anbar Governor for Energy Affairs, Aziz Khalaf Al-Tarmouz, revealed, on Saturday, the obstructing party for the reconstruction and rehabilitation project of the most important industrial plants in the Middle East.
Al-Tarmouz said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that “the Ministry of Industry referred the Al-Qaim phosphate plant in western Anbar, which is considered one of the most important industrial plants in the Middle East, to a Czech group of Fenesta Krupp and Thomas de Oliveira, and sent the investment contract to the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers to ratify the contracts concluded with The two companies, however, that the approval has not been obtained up to this hour, despite the lapse of approximately 8 months from the date of sending it to the concerned party.
He added that "the reasons for obstructing the approval of the reconstruction, rehabilitation and operation of the existing phosphate plant by the concerned party are unclear despite the numerous requests for approval of the contract in preparation for the foreign investment companies to start working to operate the plant that has been stalled for more than 17 years."
It is noteworthy that many governmental industrial factories are still not working in Anbar, despite the stability of the security situation. End / 12 a
