    The Parliamentary Economic Committee identified alternative options to provide funds instead of raising the exchange rate.  
    Committee member Mazen Al-Faily told the official agency, and he was followed by "Ultra Iraq", that "the committee called for changing the exchange rate and returning it to its previous one because it is a decision with economic benefits and negatives, but its disadvantages are much more than the positive ones," noting that "the positives include raising the exchange rate and supplying the treasury." With eight trillion dinars, this amount can be compensated by raising the price of a barrel of oil in the budget, to avoid the great harm to the people. "  
    He added, "At the present time, there is no hosting of the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank by the committee, as it did not meet during the current period."  
    Al-Faili called for "the necessity of developing a clear plan for market stability according to a specific calendar," noting that "the most challenges facing farmers are imported crops, especially with customs exemptions for some countries."
