The representative of the National Approach bloc, Hussein Al-Oqabi, accused, on Saturday, political forces of passing the budget for electoral purposes, indicating that the pass deal will reflect its results on the upcoming political alliances .
"Political forces participated in passing the budget in order to exploit it in the upcoming elections, and pass some items in favor of other political forces in order to ensure an alliance with them in the upcoming elections, " Al-Uqabi said .
He added that "deals in the budget will be present during the early elections and beyond, through the political alliances that form the next government ."
Al-Uqabi, a member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, indicated that "the budget is distorted and its passage is a crime against the Iraqi people, who will suffer from a continuous crisis due to the increase in the price of the dollar and not to return it to the old price despite the availability of financial allocations and the rise in global oil prices."
