Parliamentary Communications: The continued smuggling of Internet capacities wasted a great fortune

A member of the Parliamentary Communications Committee, Representative Iqbal Al-Lahibi, confirmed, on Sunday, that the smuggling of Internet capacity in Iraq has not been resolved so far .
Al-Lahibi said, "The smuggling of Internet capacities is one of the very complex files in the Iraqi telecommunications sector, and it represents corruption of another kind, stressing that smuggling has not been resolved even despite repeated measures by the ministry .
Al-Lahibi added, “The smuggling of Internet capacity, if it is resolved, will generate huge sums of money on the country's treasury, stressing that this sector is vital and large and addressing its disadvantages is a matter of great importance, confirming the existence of a move towards the government and the Ministry of Communications in order to take a package of measures that are more resolved in the file of ending the smuggling of Internet capacity and disclosing the identity Those involved . ”
The Ministry of Communications raided many areas of smuggling Internet capacity, especially in Diyala, during the past months.
