    Latif said in a statement that the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it, that "the period of construction of these reactors includes the number of scientific cadres working in it," indicating that "the availability of political will in the country and awareness of the extent to which Iraq needs these reactors by the politician and the citizen alike is very important. About the possibility of speeding up procedures for Iraq to obtain these reactors. "
    He added, "Iraq will need to produce more energy during the next ten years, which cannot be achieved with oil or gas fuels for many important considerations."
    Latif assured, "The fear of building these reactors to be used for military purposes is completely untrue, and that their construction will be limited to producing electric energy, as the fuel cannot be extracted from the metal envelope it contains, as it comes closed and at the end of the envelope it is received by the producing company to be re-exported to a country. Origin "indicating that" there is no way to use it on the military side, as this type of fuel is intended for energy production only and cannot be exploited in any way. "
    Latif assured, "Many American and Russian countries and companies approached the possibility of building these reactors in Iraq," explaining that "these two countries are fully aware of the types of these reactors and there is no objection about them because they are safe, sound and dedicated to producing electricity only."
